TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO’S HEALTH MINISTER SAYS VACCINE BOOSTERS FOR ALL

By a Staff Reporter: A more aggressive booster programme is expected in the next coming days. This according to Trinidad and Tobago’s Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh who explained the 234,000 doses of vaccines that they recently received….despite a low vaccine uptake.

At Monday’s Ministry of Health covid-19 update Minister Deyalsingh said that with the Omicron variant and the current vaccine stocks a booster programme for those already vaccinated is on its way.

Over the weekend, 84,000 doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines arrived in the country via the COVAX facility.

Minister Deyalsingh added that they must learn to respond to the virus and its new variants as quickly as possible.
