BY A STAFF REPORTER: A Trinamool worker was shot dead on his way back from the market. Incident occured at Basanti. The deceased has been identified as Alam Gazir. According to eyewitnesses, the miscreants opened fire on the tmc worker in the chest.
Alam Gazi died on the spot. According to local police sources, the miscreants fired around four rounds.
