'There is no information about death in the farmers' movement, so there is no question of financial assistance,' says Centre

The government does not have statistics on how many farmers died while agitating. This was stated by the Union Agriculture Ministry in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha. The Centre has also dismissed the issue of financial assistance to the families of deceased farmers. Which has started with political pressure. And in the Parliament session on Wednesday, the Central Government said that the government has no record of how many farmers died during the 1-year-long agitation.
