BY A STAFF REPORTER : The villagers saw the tail of a helicopter on fire. There was an intense mist cover and visibility was low. The helicopter made a few maneuvers in the sky before hitting a tree and crashing in Nanjappanchathiram area in Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu, said senior Tamil Nadu political leader Challenger Durai. Speaking exclusively to ANM News over phone from Nilgiris, Durai said villagers, local police have rushed to the spot and so far 13 bodies have been recovered from the crash site. Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Bipin Rawat was on board the helicopter along with military personnel. ``There should be a full scale probe into the incident,'' Durai said. Chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin has also reached the crash site.
