Bangladeshi illegal immigration racket busted, 21 arrested

By A Staff reporter: In a sensational raid the anti terrorist squad of UP police swooped down in Anandapur in the eastern fringes of the city and arrested 21 Bangladeshis. Police said Mahfuzur Rehman and his associates from Sreenagar in Munshigung were involved in human trafficking and fake passport and were had allegedly helped several hundred Bangladeshis cross over and attain fake Indian passport and other documents. The raids were carried out with the help of Anandapur police and they are being interrogated for more details. Police said they will be forwarded in Court on Monday.
