BY A STAFF REPORTER: In 1971 on this day India defeated Pakistan. Pakistan was dissolved and Bangladesh was formed. Today marks 50 years of this war. The golden jubilee of Vijay Diwas is being celebrated across the country on Thursday. Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays a wreath at the National War Memorial on the occasion of 50th VijayDiwas. He tribute the martyrs who losts their live in that war.
