Delta plus variant might be predominant during the ensuing third wave

Amid third wave warning, delta plus variant has been reported from three states and is a ``definite cause of concern.'' The Union health ministry sounded a note of warning stating that the pandemic is still not over with three states, Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh reporting Delta plus variant cases over the past few days. Although coronavirus cases have come down drastically with less then 40,000 new cases in the last one day but the health ministry sounded a note of warning on the Delta plus variant.
