BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA CELEBRATED

By a Staff Reporter: Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari , Balagarh Karyasthan observed 160th birth anniversary of International Youth Icon Swaami Vivekananda on 12th January ,. 2022 at the auditorium of Sripur Kalyan Samiti Library premises from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The programme started with chanting of three Omkaras followed by lightening of lamp by our only guest Mr. Ambika Prasad Seth (retired Secondary school Teacher-in-Charge). Samparka Pramukh Mrs. Subarna Halder garland ed Swamijis portrait . All the respected Karyakartees put floral tributes to Swamijis feet . Centre Co-ordinator Smt. Amala Roy Das conducted the whole programme and explained the importance of the day to all of us with a short delivery . There was a happy ending with a cup of tea and snacks for all the participants . Total heads were 20 in number.
