Shivsena slams BJP over Goa election

Former chief minister Manohar Parrikar's son Utpal Parrikar has quit the party after declaring a 'revolt' without getting an election ticket. He has announced that he will contest as an independent candidate. And shiv sena attacked the BJP over this. Shivsena Leader Sanjay Raut said that, 'Now the fight in Panaji will be between dishonesty and character as Utpal Parrikar (son of late former Goa CM Manohar Parrikar) has announced that he will contest as an independent candidate from Panaji constituency.
