TMC promises to provide 50% reservation to women in local bodies

By A Staff Reporter : Trinamool has promised to reserve 50 percent seats for women in local bodies if they win the Goa elections. Goa TMC leader Luizinho Faleiro announces "When we come to power, we will give 50 percent reservation to women in local bodies in Goa." At the same time, attacking the BJP, he said, "Goa, which was the seat of peace, has now become the capital of crime and prostitution. The BJP government has put us in a situation that Goa has never seen."
