Power Grid to invest 6.8 bln rupees in two transmission projects
Following are the key excerpts from an exchange filing by Power Grid Corp of India Ltd today:
* The company will invest 6.78 bln rupees in two transmission system projects
* The transmission system for evacuation of power from Pakaldul HEP in Chenab Valley HEPs-LTA is worth 3.18 bln rupees, and is scheduled to be commissioned by April 2025
* The company will spend another 3.59 bln rupees for a transmission system strengthening scheme for evacuation of power from solar energy zones in Rajasthan--8.1 GW. This project will be commissioned by September 2023
