Lalu Prasad convicted in fodder scam case

BY A STAFF REPORTER: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was finally convicted in the fodder scam case. This is what the CBI court in Ranchi ruled on Tuesday. A special CBI court has convicted 75 accused, including Lalu Yadav. Special Judge S K Sasi acquitted 24 accused, including six women, in the case due to lack of evidence. The court sentenced the 36 accused to three years in prison. The quantum of punishment for 39 accused, including Lalu Prasad Yadav, will be pronounced on February 21.
