Kolkata : Shreyashi online magazine presented a different programme on the eve of International Mother Language Day popularly known as 'Ekushe February' .At the out set Rana Zaman from Dhaka, Bangladesh unfolded the untold anecdotes pertaining to 'Ekushe February' or 'Bhasa Dibas' that announced later by UNESCO as International Mother Language Day in the year 2000 . Soumen Kar, Dr. Aloknath Mishra ,Chandan Shit , Pranab kanti Bhattacharya , Sushanta Sahu , Dr. Gagan Ch De highlighted the key issues regarding multifold aspects in their brief note and poems . Putul Maity's recitation of a poem by Kazi Nazrul Islam fetched standing ovation. Padmalochan Karan , story writer and novelist, brought home of the recently launched novel 'Mahajiban' that centers round a rustic orphaned lass Aparna's sole struggle with sociopolitical issues and attainment of the supre devotional elevation in the long run . Veteran Poet and The President of Bongiya Sahitya Porishod in Chhattisgarh , Dulal Somaddar presented the whereabouts of Gobind Pal's new released collection of Bengali poems "Samayer Padadhwani' from the house of New World Publication ,New Delhi . Nalini kanta Padhi's Collection of Odia poems under the title 'Surjyastara Shesh Kotha' ( The last words of the Sunset ) from Bonaful Publication , Kendrapada also released in the Meet on such auspicious occasion .A multilingual poets' Meet continued in between the programme .Poets like Rojot Sanyal ,from Gujrat , Centu Ranjan Chakraborty from Agartala , Gobind Pal and Dulal Somaddar from Chhattisgarh , Pallabi Das from Bankura ,Deb kumar Mukhopadhyay from 24 Pragana read poems and reaped the harvest of appreciation .Sanatan mahamud , Duryadhan Pradhan , Santanu Bisoi ,Bijay Kumar Muduli were connected from Odisha and read their poems in Odia. Bilingual Poets like Pradipta Das and Priya Ranjan Das read poems in Odia and English respectively from Jharkhand and Nagaland .Biswayan ,an annual Odiya magazine on be half of Biswayan Sahitya Porisod in Kharagpur and a by-monthly Bengali magazine named 'Manan' opened to readers in this Meet .The two and half hours long sessione was anchored by the the editor of the 'Shreyashi' Mr. Barun Kumar Das .
