By a Staff Reporter, Kolkata: 7th Indian Short Film Festival 2022, organized by Indian Photo & Cultural lovers Welfare Foundation in the loving memory of Late Vijay Seth on 6th March, at Suria Sen Mancha (Near Jadavpur Police Station), Kolkata-68. This award ceremony also known as “Banga Cine-Tele Ananya Sanman-2022”. Around 18 movies including one special movie had screened in the memory of Late Vijay Seth in this festival. The festival inaugurated by the chief guest Pranati Thakur and Sri Pradip Dey at 1 pm and then the festival continued by screening movie one by one. Award distribution started by evening with august presence of chief guest Susmita Saha W.B.C.S officer, Hemant Marda Film Director, Shiuly Ramani, Actress Producer, Rana Banerjee, Film Maker and Atreyee Chatterjee, Departmental Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of BCA, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata. The entire program anchored by Sujit Chakraborty, Secretory IPCLWF and Souvik Paul, Assistant Professor, Department of BCA, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata. 18 awards awarded to different categories of the movies including Best Film. Judges Choice Award given to Naba Kumar Das, for the movie named ‘Poshak’ on the memory of late Vijay Seth. One of the conveners of the festival Doli Seth expressed her heartily gratitude to the film maker, guest and the spectators whom make the festival grand succeed.
