By A Staff Reporter : The Haryana government has presented a budget of a Rs 1.77-lakh-crore for 2022-23 on Tuesday.Presenting the budget on the one hand, International Women's Day on the other.On the special day, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar remembered Haryana's daughter and late Union Minister Sushma Swaraj. Khattar said, "Today is the International Women's Day. Today, we celebrate the social, economic, sports, cultural and political achievements of our Matrushakti. The women of Haryana have made considerable achievements in the past few years, especially in the field of sports and politics. Late Sushma Swaraj, a daughter of Haryana, was an inspiration to all women in India."At the same time, on the occasion of International Women's Day, Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar announced the 'Sushma Swaraj Award' for women. This award will be given to selected women for their significant contribution or achievements in different walks of life.He also announced the Haryana Matrishakti Project, a sahabhagita project.Compared to the last financial year, the budget allocation has increased by 15.6 percent this year. 8,925.52 crore has been allocated for health.
