By A Staff Reporter : The Punjab government has made a big decision about pension. On Friday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that Punjab MLAs would no longer receive multiple pensions / family pensions.Punjab MLAs will get pension for one term only, no matter how many times former MLAs win. Even if a MLA works for 5 or 6 terms, only one pension will be paid and no additional pension for each term.
