India logs 1,660 new cases & 4100 deaths in the last 24 hours

By a Staff Reporter:  According to data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday, 1,660 people have been infected with corona in the country in the last 24 hours. That's a little less than yesterday. However, active cases are gradually declining in the country. At present, the number of active corona patients in the country is 16 thousand 741. Currently, the rate of active cases in the country is 0.04 per cent. But corona is still taking away the lives of ordinary people. According to the report, 4100 people have lost their lives in corona in the last 24 hours. However, the old records of several states are also included. As a result, the number of Covid deaths in the country has increased to 5,20,855.
