By a Staff Reporter : Mark Vande Hei holds the record for the longest stay in space as an astronaut. He spent 355 days in space. The American astronaut finally returned to Earth on Wednesday. Also returning from space today are astronauts Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov.
