Cuttack (15/4):On the auspicious occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Odia Nav Varsh, 14th April 2022 Thursday, Anandam Foundation organised a "Vishwa Shanti Homyagna" at Varandihura(Tribal Village), Agrahat, Choudwar, Cuttack district of Odisha. It started on 10a.m. with Vedic mantras followed by Bhajan with the coordination of Gayatri Parivar, Choudwar Branch. The locals joined us merrily and contributed in the programme. Local residents Shri Shankar Hembram and his wife Smt Sapani Hembram performed the Yagya as hosts(yajmaan). It was concluded with Purnahuti & Prasadam at 3pm. Shri Janmajey Sahoo (Joint Secretary), Shri Ashok Kumar Nayak and Shri Sagar Hembram (Karyakarta) coordinated the whole programme. Along with the villagers, other 26 people (invitee) attended the ritual. Shri Manoj Das, General Secretary of Anandam Foundation was also present on this occasion.
