Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomai, Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot and Union Sports Minister Anurag Tagore were present along with President M Venkaiah Naidu.About Khelo India University, Anurag Thakur said, '' Two years later we have the privilege of hosting such a prestigious and grand event.Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of this Khelo India University Games was to provide a platform for the upcoming players to showcase their talents in the field of sports. Win-lose is part of the game. Each participant has to play with a sports attitude. I am sure that the students are playing in these university games, we will see them play for the country in future."
