Preparations for the elections have started in Nepal

By a Staff Reporter: Preparations for the elections have started in Nepal. Local elections will be held in Nepal on May 13. On that occasion, the candidates had already submitted their nomination papers to the Election Commission on April 24. The Election Commission gave them the election symbol on Saturday. The party candidates have received the election symbol of their party. Independent candidates also got new symbols. Shaligram Sharma Paudel, spokesperson of the Election Commission of Nepal, told the media on Saturday. A total of 79 parties have filed nomination papers for the local elections in Nepal.
