There are four ships of the squadron on the tour of Saudi Arabia

By A Staff Reporter : Four ships of India's first training squadron are on a four-day visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as part of a five-nation overseas deployment.During the visit, Senior Officer, Capt. Aftab Ahmed Khan met with Rear Admiral Yahya bin Mohammed Al-Asiri, Western Fleet Commander of the Royal Saudi Navy, along with commanding officers of Indian ships, including the First Training Squadron.The two countries also discussed bilateral naval cooperation and training initiatives, the navy said.
