By A Staff Reporter : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Nepal on May 16.The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba as part of his visit to Nepal on Buddha Purnima.According to foreign ministry sources, Modi will visit Lumbini on Monday.The visit is going to be at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Nepal.While in Lumbini, the Prime Minister will visit the holy Mayadevi temple and offer prayers there.The Prime Minister of India will also address the Buddha Jayanti function organized by the Lumbini Development Trust. Modi will also take part in the groundbreaking ceremony for a center for Buddhist culture and heritage at a plot of land belonging to the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) in Delhi.
