Anti-Plastic Campaign by Bidhannagar Municipality

By a Staff Reporter: The meteorological office has forecast the onset of monsoon in the state ahead of time. However, before the onset of monsoon, Bidhannagar Municipality launched an anti-plastic campaign at Salt Lake FB Market. Strict warnings have been issued for the use of plastics below 75 microns. Bidhannagar municipality has informed that legal action will be taken in case of violation of rules. The anti-plastic campaign will be launched in all the wards of Bidhannagar municipality, the municipal authorities said.
