PM Modi spoke to the Chairman of NEC Corporation

By A Staff Reporter : Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets NEC Corporation Chairman Dr. Nobuhiro Endo in Tokyo.Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said this in a tweet. He said, 'PM Modi lauded the role of NEC in India's telecommunications sector and discussed opportunities for new and emerging technologies in India.The Prime Minister appreciated the role of NEC in undertaking OFC projects in India's telecommunications sector, particularly in the Chennai-Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands.He also highlighted the investment opportunities under the Production Linked Incentive Scheme. They discussed various reforms adopted to facilitate business in India, including industrial development, taxes and labor. They also discussed opportunities in India for new and emerging technologies.'
