An interesting Dragon boat race in Kolkata: China CG

By a Staff Reporter: Chinese consulate is organising a dragon boat race at the Calcutta Boating club on June 5. The race to be kicked off at 5 PM will have five boats vying for the title. According to consul general of China, Zha Liyou, the Indian Chinese community youth and a delegation from Bangladesh will be participating in the competition. “There will be specialised Chinese food stalls and cultural events including dance and other activities,” he said. The event will begin at 5 PM and end at 9 PM with cocktail and dinner.
