By A Staff Reporter : The central government's 'Beti Bachao Beti Padao' project has played a leading role to establish the value of women in the society and emphasizing the importance of spreading women's education. This is a campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padao' project on January 22, 2015. The aim of this scheme is to increase the efficiency of providing welfare services for the girl child and also to create awareness.100 crore was provided in the initial fund for this project. Sakshi Malik, who won a bronze medal in the Olympics in 2016, was announced as the representative of this project.The primary goal of this scheme was to reduce the gender inequality ratio.It is a national initiative jointly run by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The initiative initially covered 100 districts across the country with the highest gender inequality rates.On International Girl Child Day 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for an end to female feticide. Camps are being set up at various places, awareness campaigns are being carried out to save the girls and teach them education.
