Heat wave sweeps United States

Heat waves are sweeping the North west and North east United States. Portland set an all-time record high temperature for three days in a row. Seattle also beat its own record as heat waves swept across the border. Lytton, British Columbia, also broke all time records, registering temperatures as high as 48 degrees above normal.
