Himanta walks through flooded Silchar streets

By a Staff Reporter: A chief minister walking down the flooded streets of Silchar and talking to residents and taking a stock of the devastating flood situation. Throwing all protocol and security to the wayside, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswasarma waded through knee deep water in Silchar and spoke to local residents. Himanta interacted with people to understand the problems and assured residents his government is trying to bring about a change within a year.
