Government shunts out director security Vivek Sahay after security breach at CM house

By A Staff Reporter: The state government shunted out director security Vivek Sahay after a recent security breach in chief minister's residence in Kalighat. A man entered the high security zone and stayed over in the night right in front of chief minister's door despite high police presence. Sahay has been replaced by Piyush Pandey, currently director SCRB and also in correctional services. The state home department also reshuffled a few IPS officers posting Alok Rajoria as DIG, Burdwan Range and Amit Jawalgi as police commissioner Chandannagore. To bolster the CID, Dr BL Meena has been posted as Inspector general of police from his current posting as IGP, Burdwan Range.
