By A Staff Reporter : In reference to Recent changes made in school curriculum related to weather, climate change, and even the Indian monsoon, a teachers' body has urged the NCERT to reconsider these deletions from the school environmental syllabus.< Teachers against the climate crisis > TACC, is a non-funded, organisation consisting members from universities and research institutions throughout India, which seeks to promote understanding of the climate change said that they are are deeply dismayed by the NCERT's numerous recent changes to school syllabi.
A teacher body also stated that it was extremely crucial to convey the essence of such updated information to senior school students across India in an accessible and understandable way.It also said how deeply concerned students are about environmental issues in India and around the world, stating that youth actions and involvement are crucial in the fight against climate change.
