MAYANK YADAV: 21ST JULY, The Hyderabad Traffic Police has booked upwards of 15,000 individuals in instances of vehicle number plate altering since March this year. Most wrongdoers alter number plates to sidestep traffic punishments forced by police through electronic observation, police authorities said. Wrong number plates could delude the policing in identification of any offense, a senior traffic official said.
