No prosecution against Indian doctors for using allopathy: Madras HC

Ananya Saha-RMT Judge Teekaa Raman delivered the judgment recently when he allowed a criminal original petition by Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, who sought to quash the chargesheet registered against him before the Salem Judicial Magistrate No. 1 in 2018.

The Madras High Court has held that Indian doctors who also use/prescribe allopathic medicines cannot be prosecuted.
