Impact, an NGO, initiated a unique concept of promoting safety during the festive days through a competition Impact Sharad Ananda. celebrities, diplomats, bureaucrats and foreign dignitaries take a tour of the pandals. The concept started 26 years ago and has gone beyound borders . Excitement is always in the air as puja organisers compete with one another to win the coveted award. Impact Sharad Ananda went international few years back has now truely evolved into a phenomena.
