BY A STAFF REPORTER: The central government has made a big announcement about the Popular Front of India. The PFI has been banned for the next five years. After a series of raids across the country and arrests by central agencies, a radical outfit called The Popular Front of India (PFI) was on Wednesday banned by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for five years.
Not only that, pfi's affiliates – Rehab India Foundation (RIF), Campus Front of India (CFI), All India Imams Council (AIIC), National Confederation of Human Rights Organisations (NCHRO), National Women's Front, Junior Front, Empower India Foundation and Rehab Foundation, Kerala were also banned.
