Heavy rainfall forecast in parts of the several states

​BY A STAFF REPORTER: The monsoon is slowly departing from the country. That's what the Weather Department says. However, in the next 24 hours, there are reports of heavy rains in several states. Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Andaman and Nicobar Islands are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall with a few spells of heavy rainfall. 

 Light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Odisha, Jharkhand, parts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Sikkim and northeast India. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Kerala, Lakshadweep, Western Himalayas, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
