Meet Prof Dr Soumyajit Roy, as he held his colleagues in rapt attention during an interaction in the house of the Chinese consul general in Kolkata.How does he speak so fluent Chinese? ``I am married to a Chinese lady,'' he said.
Prof Roy was a part of a delegation which successfully completed a short term online business Chinese certificate course 2022 hosted by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industries in association with Consulate General of China, Yunnan University and Foreign Affairs Office of People's government of Yunnan province in China.
Prof Roy indicated that he has visited several cities in China and works in close coordination with his Chinese counterparts. How does he speak so fluent Chinese? ``I am married to a Chinese lady,'' he said.
