Cyclone Sitrang: Indian Coast Guard rescued 20 Bangladeshi fishermen

BY A STAFF REPORTER:
The Indian Coast Guard has rescued 20 Bangladeshi fishermen stranded due to cyclone 'Sitrang' from the Bay of Bengal on October 25. According to sources, the Coast Guard launched a search operation in Odisha and West Bengal after cyclone Sitrang made landfall. During the search operation, the force found some fishermen floating in the waters of India and Bangladesh. Perhaps due to the storm, their vessel overturned. Later, the Indian coast guard rescued the Bangladeshi fishermen and handed them over to the Coast Guard of Bangladesh.
