Dhoni achieved this score against Sri Lanka on 31 October 2005 in the third ODI of the seven-match series at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Batting at number three, Dhoni scored 183 runs from 145 balls with the help of 15 fours and 10 sixes. And as a result, the Rahul Dravid-led team defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets.
