​By A Staff Reporter: Yesterday, the World Cup trophy reached Costa Rica ahead of the 2022 World Cup hosted by Qatar. Upon arrival, President of the Republic Rodrigo Chávez and Costa Rican Soccer Federation President Rodolfo Villalobos accepted the trophy. After touring South America for the past few days, the trophy has arrived in Costa Rica. In particular, it visited Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Ecuador before. President Rodrigo Chavez said, 'It is one of the most recognized tournaments in the world and it is a tournament of unification, a tournament that recognizes excellence, dedication and courage.' It should be noted that the FIFA World Cup is going to start in Qatar from November 20.
