Literature festival in Kolkata on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In the glorious year of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav “you will be happy to know that on behalf of Parichay Foundation, Odisha we are launching “Parichay Literature Festival” for the first time in Rotary Sadan Chowranghee Road, Kolkata on 26th Nov 2022 at 10.30 AM on national level. Approximately, about 50 young and senior poets/authors of high repute belonging to a dozen of recognized Indian languages viz; Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Hindi, Marathi, Maithili, Santali, Telugu, Gujurati, Nepali and English are joining as participants amongst which 34 percentage of women writers are there. In multilingual poetry recitation programme they have been requested to present their poems in their respective mother tongue only. Besides this, there will be panel session on “Literary Translations: Problems and Prospectives”. In addition to this Parichay Quarterly and books published
newly by the invited writers will also be released . As the director of PLF I would like to invite you to kindly grace the occasion and cooperate us by giving wide coverage in the print and electronic media in the larger interest of Indian language literature and culture.
