PRIME MINISTER RENDERED APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO MORE THAN 71 THOUSAND SELECTED CANDIDATES IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS UNDER THE ROJGAAR MELA

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually addressed the selected candidates in more than 45 Rojgaar Mela organized at different places in the country and also rendered appointment letters to more than 71 thousand selected candidates. In the same sequence, on 22nd November' 2022, South Bengal Frontier, BSF also organized an Rojgaar Mela at Nazrul Shotobarshiki Hall of Madhyamgram Municipality.

The responsibility of handing over the appointment letters to the 1058 candidates selected in the Border Security Force was entrusted to the South Bengal Frontier. Out of this, 1057 candidates have been selected from the state of West Bengal and 01 candidate from the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar. Team of Nodal Officers of South Bengal Frontier invited 200 candidates selected in 24 Central Government Departments to the Rojgaar Mela to get appointment letters.

The Chief Guest Shri Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, IPS, ADG (Eastern Command) inaugurated the program in the presence of Dr. Atul Fulzele, IPS, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier, senior officers of the force and officials from various departments of the Central Government. Shri Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, IPS called 25 selected candidates on stage and rendered appointment letters to them who had come to the Rojgaar Mela. 

Apart from this, the remaining selected candidates were given appointment letters by the senior officials present there.


Spokesperson of South Bengal Frontier stated that appointment letters will be sent after the event through e-mail and registered post to the selected candidates who were not invited to the Rojgaar Mela.
