By a Staff Reporter: Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has been reappointed as President of Equatorial Guinea at the age of 80. With this he was appointed as the President of Equatorial Guinea for the sixth time.

He was re-elected with 94.9 percent of the vote. In 1979 he was first appointed as the President of Equatorial Guinea.
