Christmas day is not actually the birthday of Jesus Christ.

The word "Christmas" comes from the Old English Christes mass, which means "Christmas mass". Despite being a Christian sacrament, several non-Christian communities also celebrate Christmas in great fervour. In some cases, there is even a gathering of pre-Christian and secular ideas in the celebration of the festival. Gift giving, music, exchange of Christmas cards, worship in churches, feasts, and a special kind of decorative display consisting of Christmas trees, illumination, garlands, mistletoe, Jesus' birth scene, and Holly are part of the celebration of Christmas in modern times.

But we all celebrate December 25, the birthday of Jesus Christ. But that day is not the birthday of Jesus Christ. There is no mention of December 25 anywhere in the Bible. In fact, there is no mention anywhere about when, when Jesus Christ was born. There is a lot of controversy among early Christians.

According to the belief of ancient Christians, Jesus came to mother Mary's womb just nine months before December 25. Probably, according to this calculation, December 25 is considered to be the date of Jesus' birth.
