By A Staff Reporter: India won gold in lawn bowling at the Commonwealth Games this year. And this was India's first Commonwealth medal in lawn bowling. Four women – Lovely Chaubey, Pinky, Rupa Rani Tirkey and Nayanmani Saikia have achieved the gold medal. They changed society's perception of this game. And for this achievement their team has been given the title of 'Team of the Year'. They defeated South Africa in the final.
