Suvendu's letter to Union Education Minister

Suvendu Adhikari has written a letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan alleging financial irregularities in the mid-day meal scheme. In the letter, the leader of the opposition has demanded that a central audit team be sent to the state alleging embezzlement of mid-day meal money.

In a letter sent to Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday, the BJP leader claimed that the state government was misappropriating funds of the mid-day meal or pradhan mantri poshan scheme in multiple ways, including "unethical" diversion of funds, creation of fake bills for mid-day meals. The BJP leader also alleged that the ruling party was using the money for the project for its personal interest.
