3 police officers suspended from service for their alleged involvement in criminal activities

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Several police officers have been sacked for their alleged involvement in criminal activities. Three police officers have been dismissed from service for their alleged involvement in criminal activities in Thiruvananthapuram city limits. Meanwhile five more police personnel have been suspended and 24 transferred from Mangalapuram in Thiruvananthapuram Rural. The city police commissioner has issued an order dismissing three police officers from service for their involvement in serious offences and negligence in the investigation of a case lodged on charges of sexual assault. The order was issued as the reply to the show cause notice was not satisfactory. Railway police inspector Abhilash David has been dismissed from service for serious negligence in the investigation of a sexual assault case while he was the station inspector of Srikariyam police station.
