BY A STAFF REPORTER: The government is likely to announce PLI schemes for more sectors in the upcoming Union Budget. Sources says that the government is likely to increase financial incentives for production of toys, bicycles and leather and shoes in the upcoming budget, as it seeks to expand the production-linked incentive PLI scheme to include more high-employment potential sectors.
