The Indian Navy's strength in the sea is going to increase. INS 'Vagir', the fifth submarine of the Kalvari class, will join navy on January 23. Govt sources says, This submarine is entirely made in India and has been built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in Mumbai. The Indian Navy has been assisted by the French company Naval Group. Commanding Officer Diwakar S said, "INS Vagir can be deployed on the seashore and in the middle sea and it is capable of fulfilling all the requirements of the Indian Navy. This is a big step towards a self-reliant India. ''
