BY A STAFF REPORTER:Officials on both sides said the main border crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistan has been closed since Monday. The main reason for the closure is known to be that the residents of the area usually hear the sound of gunfire near the busy border transit point, after which the border is closed. However, it is not yet known when the border will be reopened.
